Painted Prayers. In the most succinct way possible that is our mission at Cyclical Designs - painting prayers for a more beauty-full world. A world of harmony and balance that lives in sync with the natural cycles that surround us day and night. A world of color and creativity. A world of reciprocity, collaboration, and community.
Cyclical Designs was birthed many moons ago on grid-lined journals and plane ride musings. Melissa, the founding artist, has always drawn inspiration from surrounding symmetries and synchronicities. It is a great joy now to be able to create and share with her communities.

Melissa Rose was born and raised in South Shore Massachusetts nestled between the sea and the forest. As the daughter of a textile designer, she was always enamored by the patterns and vibrancy of the world around her. She is a lover of the garden, the road, the trails, tea, animals, and all things vintage.
In 2022 she got her first mural opportunity and it’s been a love affair since. Her “painted prayers” are intentional pieces with a particular message for those who happen upon them.
