Painted Prayers. In the most succinct way possible that is our mission at Cyclical Designs - painting prayers for a more beauty-full world. A world of harmony and balance that lives in sync with the natural cycles that surround us day and night. A world of color and creativity. A world of reciprocity, collaboration, and community.
Cyclical Designs was birthed many moons ago on grid-lined journals and plane ride musings. Melissa, the founding artist, has always drawn inspiration from surrounding symmetries and synchronicities. It is a great joy now to be able to create and share with her communities.​​

Melissa Rose was born and raised in South Shore Massachusetts nestled between the sea and the forest. As the daughter of a textile designer, she was always enamored by the patterns and vibrancy of the world around her. She is a lover of the garden, the road, the trails, tea, animals, and all things vintage.
In 2022 she got her first mural opportunity and it’s been a love affair since. Her “painted prayers” are intentional pieces with a particular message for those who happen upon them.
